Gabriel Mayer
CEO & Founder
After studying corporate finance at Baruch, Gabriel began his career as an analyst at Zeno Capital Partners; a New York based private equity group. While there, he established himself as one of the lead underwriters in several leveraged buyouts of middle market technology, healthcare, and media companies. Gabriel was then recruited as the first employee at a middle market healthcare private equity group serving as a Senior Associate.
During his tenure, Gabriel helped build the firm’s healthcare business from the ground up, ultimately moving into the role of Executive VP of Asset Management. Over the last four years, under his leadership, the group grew to manage healthcare assets in excess of $300mm in revenue and over 5,000 employees across several verticals. Subsequently, Gabriel left the firm to start Tricura Insurance Group and currently leads the team as Chief Executive Officer. Gabriel brings an impeccable attention to detail and relentless work ethic coupled with an intimate understanding of skilled nursing operations and the nuances that drive risk performance.
He lives with his wife and son in NY.
Matthew Queen
Chief Operations Officer
Matthew is a seasoned insurance professional who creates common sense solutions to complex problems. He structures innovative insurance and reinsurance programs for various types of risk. His vision is to improve the insurance experience for all stakeholders. Matthew earned his law degree of Georgia State University and completed his undergraduate at the Georgia Institute of Technology. His treatise on captive insurance, Modern Captive Insurance, stands as a reference point for regulatory and compliance issues endemic to alternative risk financing. Matthew resides in Rome, Georgia with his wife and his sons.
Elizabeth Nichols
Underwriting Director
Elizabeth Nichols is the Director of Underwriting at Tricura Insurance Group, where she leads underwriting strategy and portfolio performance for Tricura. She has specialized in underwriting professional and general liability insurance for senior living facilities since 2012, with extensive experience across skilled nursing, assisted living, and CCRC risks.
Elizabeth holds a degree in Insurance and Risk Management from the University of Olivet and is known for her disciplined, relationship driven approach to underwriting, focused on long term program stability and strong broker partnerships.
She resides in Michigan with her husband and daughter.
Robbie Redlin
Chief Revenue Officer
With more than 15 years of experience in healthcare and healthtech, this role brings deep industry expertise and a strong understanding of how complex care organizations operate and grow.
This background includes extensive work across senior living, healthcare services, and technology-enabled platforms—combining commercial strategy with a practical understanding of real-world operational environments.
That experience informs a disciplined, thoughtful approach to building sustainable growth and long-term partnerships within the senior-living ecosystem.
